- Madal is a famous folk musical instruments of Nepal associated with Nepali culture and lifestyle. it is wooden hollow tube where the skin stretched over both of the ends of tube and tightened with leather strings at both ends.
- Madal is also called as Nepali Conga, which is played horizontally in a seated position by heating the both heads simultaneously with both hands. The sound of the Madal gives the taste of folk culture music of Nepal. If you go to the countryside of Nepal, you will hear the echos of the sound where Madal giving the beat and the rhythm to the music and people who dance with the music. Almost all Nepali folk music are tuned to the rhythm and beats of the Madal.
